End-User community

Purpose

The CISE-ALERT project is being implemented in close coordination with the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) and the Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission, which have been involved since the initial phase of the project, providing guidance for the proper execution of the project trials and technical support to the development of services, implementation and upgrades of the partners’ existing CISE nodes and adaptors.

Furthermore, the CISE-ALERT project has formed an End-User Community, consisting of stakeholders, who will be involved in the project activities during the whole lifecycle of the project, including in the performance and evaluation of the trials. The End-User Community members will support and advise project partners, in their capacity of future users of CISE, with regards to the needs, operational scenarios, existing gaps and services.

Role

The role of the CISE-ALERT End-Users depends on their profile, activity, needs and readiness and could participate in one or more of the following activities:

  • Provide experience in the definition of services and use cases. 

  • Participate upon availability to project’s trials, demonstrations, workshops and provide advices, recommendations.  

  • Leverage upon the knowledge and built-in skills to provide comments to the definition and implementation of possible governances (for the project) to allow efficient cooperation among all stakeholders. 


How to join the CISE-ALERT End-User Community? 

CISE-ALERT project invites all stakeholders who would be interested to follow the project and participate upon their availability in project workshops and demonstrations, sharing experiences and know-how with organizations active in the maritime and land border management, to join the CISE-ALERT End-User Community.

  • First step: Send us a description of your partner profile, interest in CISE and potential contribution to the CISE-ALERT project. 
  • Second step: We will contact you and provide further information.
  • Third step: Confirm your participation in the CISE-ALERT End-User Community by signing the Letter of Support
